Flower Essences are extremely dilute,
vibrational solutions which contain the
energetic imprint of a particular flower, leaf,
plant, or tree and are prepared by either
dehydration by the sun or boiling method.
Flower remedies are a gentle non-toxic and
non invasive means of restoring the inner
balance of the body through a transfer of “life
energy” from the flower essence to the
animal. Remedies help alleviate emotional
stresses and therefore stimulate the body to
heal itself.
There are no side effects with essences and
it is impossible to “overdose” and they are
easy to administer and use.
To determine the essences that should be
blended together for a remedy, owners
complete a behavioural inventory which
gives a good sense of that animal’s
personality, daily routines, training schedules
and particular problems. From this
information Helen determines the essences
to be made up into a remedy.
Remedies are prepared in a liquid form and
given via a series of drops placed on food.
Based on the information from the
behavioural inventory and/or in discussion
with the animals carer, a decision is made as
to whether the remedy should be taken daily
or in certain situations. Detailed instruction
sheets are given to clients that provide
information on what essences are contained
within the remedy, how the remedy should be
stored and used. Helen works with both
Bach and Australian Bush Flower remedies.
Flower essences can be given alongside
veterinary medications.
